Hi Stan

Went, saw, heard and couldn't believe what I was hearing.  Distrust of Government - no kidding.  I wonder how all of that happened? Should I count the ways?  Roll Eyes

Surfing around and clicked on Blog on JN online and then on Risinit and would you be surprised what I found under "Fat Lard."  Here is a tasty morsel. But read it all the exchange.  An insider or so it seems?   Roll Eyes
Ann

And they do have someone on the inside drawing them a picture, and his name is ANTHONY MANGONE. Mangone’s already been indicted so his case is pending. Out of nowhere, a flurry of federal subpoenas get served on things Mangone was involved in or knows about through his law firm. You know, that firm that Bob Pozzi hired to be Carmel TB counsel when he was supervisor of Carmel? Guess who told Pozzi to hire them? The same person who told the Patterson TB to hire Anthony Mangone as special counsel to Patterson Crossing. It’s clear Mangone is cooperating with the FBI, and good for him. So you’re right, it IS all connected, and it all leads back to the same person. What interests me is that they are after numerous targets simultaneously: the Putnam Hospital land deal, corruption and perjury in a court case related to a 2009 election, and the Carmel TB letting a 500K tax bill slide by. I guess when the FBI takes this down, lots of folks are going for lots of reasons. Then they’ll see who flips first.

Today's Risinit's article -

Hi all - off to the right hand side of the online page is this article which should have been located with the main stories.  And I think this is the real story. The law firm first worked for the county, then when Pozzi became Carmel Supervisor, they worked for him and then Mangone worked for the Patterson Planning Board as a consultant - sat in the front seat of every meeting.

Who smoothed the way for the law firm and Mangone? The law firm was well known to Nick Spano from Westchester who had excellent relations with another pol from Putnam - guess who?? "They're after something else," says Tamagna.  It sure seems that way.

And perhaps while they're at it, they should have a look see at all the dealings to get Camarda a sales tax cushion for the road improvements that he promised would be on his dime and that the Patterson Planning Board based their approval of Patterson Crossing.  Whew - the stench is everywhere.   Wink

Ann
PS - saw JN online, they've put it with the main stories.
